The Nursing home is one of the main projects, realized by The British World Charity organization in Republic of Moldova.
We started project The Nursing home because of Human Rights Council resolution 21/23. This resolution is talking about elderly person’s human rights situation. There was a lot of information about elderly person’s human rights current situation in Republic of Moldova. We found out that demographic specialists predict that Moldova is being in demographic instability in the perspective of several decades. We consider it a big problem that needs a solution.
The British World Charity organization has started a research. The results were quite alarming: in Republic of Moldova is constantly growing number of elderly people who are single, homeless, cannot take care of themselves. No one takes care of these people, no one cares about their lives and its quality, about their health. That’s why we started our charity project.
Developing our project of nursing home we based on the best nursing homes all around the world. Our staff has a lot of experience working in such health care institutions for elderly people worldwide. We used their experience in the development of our own nursing home.
The British World Charity nursing home is situated in Peresecina village near by Orhei. We planned it as a place for people who need any kind of care, trying to make it as homely as possible. We developed a project of a three-storey building for the Nursing home. It’s a very modern house with all communications systems for a comfortable stay needed. The British World Charity nursing home is designed for 120 people. For the beginning, we have already housed 50 people. In time we plan to expand our activities about nursing homes all around the country.
Now we’re proud to present you our nursing home in Peresecina village, Orhei branch.
The British World Charity is proud to say that we do everything we can for making lives of our lodgers worthy and full of care and sympathy. They feel there like surrounded by family members they don’t have.
It’s just a beginning of our activities on that field in Republic of Moldova. We have many great plans on how to make the Republic of Moldova a wonderful place where everyone could afford a decent lees of life.
